As we concluded e-arena Phase 1 successfully, we extended e-arena to another phase with a PC gaming tournament. This phase was also hosted by four Rotaract Clubs for the year 2021-2022, namely, the Rotaract Clubs of ACBT Kandy, APIIT, Moratuwa, and PanColombo.
The e-arena Phase 2 event was successfully concluded on the 30th of April 2022 at APIIT Colombo 02. The 2nd Phase of e-arena was focused on the gaming sector of PC gamers, and a PC gaming tournament was organized for the game, Valorant.
Valorant is a multiplayer first-person shooter game played by two teams facing off against each other. One team attempts to plant the “Spike” and defend it from the other team while the other team tries to stop it from being planted and defuse it within the time limit if the enemy team manages to plant it. With 5 players in each team, the first team to win 13 rounds wins the game.
The tournament commenced at 9.00 am onwards, with the Host Clubs gracing the opening ceremony. Both the District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Rtn. Rtr. PP. Akhila Wijetunga and the Assistant District Rotaract Representative (ADRR) Rtn. Rtr. PP. Mohomed Rehan were invited to share their thoughts on e-arena and the goal behind the event, which is to empower esports aficionados and elevate Rotaract as an eSports leader in Sri Lanka.
The event had a total participation of over 50 players for the tournament. Starting from 10 am onwards, the tournament was played in a group format in which the teams were separated into 4 groups. Each team was given the opportunity to play two games in order to make it to the knockout stages of the tournament. The teams were given 5 maps, and they were asked to choose a map to play their game of Valorant; the available maps were Bind, Ascent, Icebox, Breeze, Haven, and Split. Team ‘nA Whiff Masters’ were the favourites to win after their first match performance, where they obliterated the enemy team with a score of 13-0, and they went on to win the tournament effortlessly.
Following a 30min lunch break in the afternoon for the players to fuel up, the tournament continued into the evening, with the event coming to a close at 7 pm. The following teams were declared the Winners after the knockout stages were completed.

2nd Place:- Team Hopeless
3rd Place:- Team Synergy
The awards for the tournament winners were presented at the closing ceremony, with the dignitaries presenting to the winners a total cash prize of Rs 10,000, and the event was successfully completed. Since this was an event with games to play as teams, this led the way to nurture the team spirit among every individual who participated in the event and it too had given an opportunity to engage in projects with the collaboration of the fellow Rotaractors from other Rotaract Clubs. It is with profound concern to state that this event has indeed geared up the path to interaction with fellow Rotaractors who were able to share some novel facts among them. Moreover, it is their hope to continue to work together in close alliance with the fellow Rotaract clubs and organize such engaging events to foster aims as Rotaractors together with each other.

Valorant නම් පරිගණක ක්‍රීඩාව මුල් කරගත් e-arena දෙවන අදියර 2022 අප්‍රේල් මස තිස් වෙනිදා සාර්ථකව නිමා කරන ලදී.
Valorant යනු පස් දෙනෙක් ගෙන් යුතු කණ්ඩායම් දෙකක් එකිනෙකට එදිරිව ගැටෙනා වෙඩි තබාගැනීමේ පරිගණක ක්‍රීඩාවකි. එක් කණ්ඩායමක් “Spike” එකක් අටවා එය රැකීමට උත්සාහ කරන අතර අනිත් කණ්ඩායම “Spike” එක ඇටවීම වැළැක්වීමත්, ප්‍රතිවිරුද්ධ කණ්ඩායම කෙසේ හෝ “Spike” එක ඇටවුවහොත් එය නියමිත කාලය තුළ නිශ්ක්‍රීය කිරීමත් කළ යුතුය. වට දහතුනම දිනනු ලබන පළමු කණ්ඩායම තරඟය ජයග්‍රහණය කරනු ලබයි.
උදෑසන 9:30 ට තරඟාවලිය ඇරඹිණි. සත්කාරක රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයන් විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද අලංකාරවත් සමාරම්භක උළෙලේදී, e-arena හි අරමුණු වන ලාංකීය eSports ආධුනිකයන් සවිබල ගැන්වීම සහ රොටරැක්ට් සංවිධානය ශ්‍රී ලංකා eSports ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ නියමුවකු බවට පත් කිරීමට දරන උත්සාහය පිළිබඳව තම අදහස් බෙදා කරගැනීමට DRR Rtn. Rtr. PP අඛිල විජේතුංග සහ සහ ADRR Rtr. PP මොහොමඩ් රෙහාන් ට ආරාධනා කරන ලදී.
තරඟකරුවන් පනහකට අධික සංඛ්‍යාවක් කණ්ඩායම් වශයෙන් කාණ්ඩ හතරක් යටතේ සටන් වැදුණු අතර ඉවත් කිරීමේ වටයට ළඟා වන විට සෑම කණ්ඩායමකටම තරඟ අවස්ථා දෙකක් ලැබී තිබුණි. කණ්ඩායම් වලට Valorant ක්‍රීඩාවේ නිරතවීම සඳහා “Bind”, “Ascent”, “Icebox”, “Breeze”, “Haven”, සහ “Split” යන සිතියම් වලින් එකක් තෝරා ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව ලබාදීමට ද සංවිධායක මණ්ඩලය කටයුතු කළේ ය.
පළමු වටයේදී 13-0 ක පහසු ජයක් ‘nA Whiff Masters’ කණ්ඩායමට හිමිවිය. තරඟාවලිය කෙතරම් උණුසුම් ද කිවහොත් විනාඩි තිහක දිවා ආහාර විවේකයෙන් බලය ජවය ශක්තිය ලද තරඟාවලිය රාත්‍රී හත වනතුරුම නිමාවූයේ නැත.
e-arena දෙවන අදියරයේ ජයග්‍රාහී කණ්ඩායම ලෙස “nA Whiff Masters” කණ්ඩායම කිරුළු පැළඳූ අතර, “Team Hopeless” කණ්ඩායම දෙවන ස්ථානයටද “Team Synergy” කණ්ඩායම තෙවන ස්ථානයටද උරුමකම් කියන ලදී.
සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන්ගේ සුරතින් ජයග්‍රාහකයන්ට රුපියල් 10,000ක් වටිනා මූල්‍යමය ත්‍යාග සහ සම්මාන ලබාදීමෙන් අනතුරුව සමාප්ති උළෙල නිමාවට පත් විය. මෙය කණ්ඩායම් ක්‍රීඩාවක් නිසාවෙන් තරඟාවලියට සහභාගී වූ සියලු තරඟකරුවන්ගේ කණ්ඩායම් හැඟීම මෙන්ම සත්කාරක රොටරැක්ට් සමාජ අතර සහයෝගීතාවයද වර්ධනය වන්නට ඇත. යළිත් මෙබඳු ව්‍යාපෘතියක් තුළින් සහෝදර රොටරැක්ට් සාමාජිකයන් හා සම්බන්ධ වෙමින් අනෙක් රොටරැක්ට් සමාජයන් සමඟ එක්වී මිතු දමින් හා සහෝදරත්වයෙන් වෙලෙමින් එකාවන්ව එක අරමුණක් කරා ගමන් කරමු!
நாங்கள் e-arena செயற்றிட்டத்தின் 1 ஆவது பகுதியை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்ததால், இணையவழி விளையாட்டுக்களுடன் e-arena வின் இரண்டாவது பகுதியை ஆரம்பித்தோம். இந்தப் பகுதியானது 2021-2022 ஆம் ஆண்டில் ACBT Kandy, APIIT, Moratuwa மற்றும் PanColombo ஆகிய றோட்டறக்ட் கழகங்களால் இணைந்து முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டது.
e-arena 2வது பகுதியின் நிகழ்வு ஏப்ரல் 30, 2022 அன்று APIIT கொழும்பு 02 இல் வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவடைந்தது. e-arena இன் 2வது பகுதியானது இணையவழி விளையாட்டு வீரர்களின் விளையாட்டு துறையில் கவனம் செலுத்தியது. மேலும் Valorant என்ற விளையாட்டை மையப்படுத்தி இந்த விளையாட்டு போட்டி ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.
Valorant என்பது பல வீரர்கள் விளையாடக் கூடிய ஒரு சுடுதல் போட்டியுடன் கூடிய ஒரு ஆட்டம் ஆகும். இதில் இரண்டு அணிகள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று எதிராக விளையாடும். ஒரு குழு “Spike” ஐ விதைத்து மற்ற அணியிடமிருந்து பாதுகாக்க முயற்சிக்கும். மற்றைய குழு அதை விதைப்பதைத் தடுக்க முயற்சிக்கும். ஒவ்வொரு அணியிலும் 5 வீரர்களுடன், 13 சுற்றுகளில் வெற்றி பெறும் அணி முதலில் வெற்றி பெறும்.
போட்டியானது காலை 9.00 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பமானது, தொடக்க விழாவை ஏற்பாட்டுக் கழகங்கள் சிறப்பித்தன. மாவட்ட றோட்டறக்ட் பிரதிநிதி (DRR) Rtn. Rtr. PP அகில விஜேதுங்க மற்றும் உதவி மாவட்ட றோட்டறக்ட் பிரதிநிதி (ADRR) Rtn. Rtr. PP மொஹமட் றெஹான் ஆகிய இருவரும் e-arena பற்றிய தங்கள் எண்ணங்களைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளவும் நிகழ்வின் பின்னணியில் உள்ள எமது இலக்கினை விபரிப்பதற்கும், இணையவழி விளையாட்டுப் பிரியர்களை ஊக்கப்படுத்துவது மற்றும் றோட்டறக்டை இலங்கையில் இணையவழி விளையாட்டுத் துறையிம் முன்னோடியாக உயர்த்துவது பற்றியும் உரையாற்றுவதற்காக அழைக்கப்பட்டனர்.
இப்போட்டியில் மொத்தம் 50க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வீரர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். காலை 10 மணிக்கு ஆரம்பித்து, அணிகள் 4 குழுக்களாகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டு, குழுவாகப் போட்டிகள் நடாத்தப்பட்டன. போட்டியின் தகுதிச் சுற்றுக்கு முன்னேற ஒவ்வொரு அணிக்கும் இரண்டு ஆட்டங்களில் விளையாட வாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்பட்டது. அணிகளுக்கு 5 வரைபடங்களும் வழங்கப்பட்டன. மேலும் அவர்கள் Valorant விளையாட்டை விளையாட ஒரு வரைபடத்தைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும்படி கேட்கப்பட்டனர்; Bind, Ascent, Icebox, Breeze, Haven மற்றும் Split ஆகியனவே அவ்வரைபடங்கள் ஆகும். ‘nA Whiff Masters’ அணி, அவர்களின் முதல் போட்டியின் செயல்திறனுக்குப் பின்னர் வெற்றிபெற்றது. அங்கு அவர்கள் எதிர் அணியை 13-0 என்ற கோல் கணக்கில் அழித்து, போட்டியை எதுவித சிரமமுமின்றி வெற்றி பெற்றனர்.
மதியம் 30 நிமிட உணவு இடைவேளைக்குப் பின், வீரர்களிம் உற்சாகத்துடன், போட்டி மாலை வரை தொடர்ந்தது, நிகழ்வு இரவு 7 மணிக்கு முடிவடைந்தது. தகுதிகாண் சுற்றுகள் முடிந்த பின், பின்வரும் அணிகள் வெற்றி பெற்றதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
